FAQsX Factory is a pop-up salon for women seeking a more meaningful way to meet, connect with, and learn from other women.
I call it a more meaningful meeting of the minds.
X Factory is a new model of social connection grounded in more intentional listening, and more generous, reflective conversations.
Typical women’s events are either one-directional (we listen to a talk) or center around exchanging contact info over “what do you do” kind of conversations.
But in today's overly stressed and scheduled world, we don't need another 'networking' event. We need time and space to slow down and reflect - for ourselves - and with others. We need to go deeper.
At X Factory, where you work or what you do is secondary to what you know and what you’ve learned. It's a space that I hope will help us all unearth new ways of seeing and being in the world and in our work. A place that cultivates not only exciting new social and professional connections, but also provides an experience of discovering collective wisdom.
It just might be the meeting you've been waiting for.
X Factory comes to life on October 18, 2016 with the theme of CHANCE.
What role has chance played in your life? Did you take a chance that changed your direction? Do you need someone to take a chance on you now? Did you ever have a chance encounter with someone that changed your life? Was there a time you gave something a second chance?
Listen as five women tell their true stories of chance, then join a smaller circle where we'll share and reflect on our individual stories. Want to read more about how the evening will unfold? Hop over here to the FAQs.
Our pop up venue is Candita Clayton Gallery, a gorgeous art-filled space in historic Hope Artiste Village, Pawtucket.
Seats are first-come, first-served, and limited to 50 people, so RSVP soon before they're all gone.
